FIR GROVE HOTEL, WARRINGTON
We began with the clients brief for the three Ws – wow, whimsy and wacky,” says Roger Moyle, design director at TFL International, who saw the project through from design to completion. “The Feather Group’s quirky sense of style is very apparent in all areas and has been a key influence in the design and dressing.”
The 12 week project covered all the public areas including reception, bar, lounge, function rooms and restaurant and the transformation makes the most of the buildings potential for use for overnight stays for business or leisure, and as a venue for functions such as wedding and conferences with the creation of the Venetian Conference and Banqueting Centre with a capacity of 300.
“We reorganised the space and helped them layout a more workable hotel for their guests, whether they be business travellers, or need relaxation, or want glamorous surroundings for weddings and other celebrations” says Moyle.
“This has been a highly successful project carried out in a busy live hotel creating a new flexible stylish space,” says Stuart Hunter, managing director of Feathers Hotel Group.
